Dear ones, please stop and listen to the stories of the mountain beings in your Place.
Remember, even places now flat once rose tall and strong with mountains. Their presence is still there in the soil and stream beds, in the sands and stone.
Stretch out your heart towards the land that is the foundation of your lives. Listen… Sense… Be open to perceiving the requests you receive for communication and exchange.
Notice invitations to be part of the nature community. Become more curious.
Be more exploratory and more willing to discern the difference between mind chatter and the quiet thought-forms of the land around you.
We all need each other, dear human friend. We are all family, and we can love each other into thriving.

A note about the words
For over twenty years I have had what can best be described as conversations with the earth.
Stones, trees, and other more-than-human beings have shared their textured lives with me in words and images, scents and sounds. We shared stories, exchanged vibrations, and celebrated, as synergies of human and more-than-human creativity were born. As I listened and learned my life was immeasurably transformed.
I’ve recorded a good many of these conversations, writing in countless journals and computer files over the years. Sharing them in blogs, newsletters and conversations. (Some of the best are held in the Alchemy From The Earth Guidebook.)
May their cadences bring you learning and transformation of your own.
