I love watching and feeling the transition from the vigorous heat and oppressive humidity of high summer to the cool fogs and deep golden light of autumn.
My ecosystem is settling into itself after flinging it’s arms wide and abundant all summer.
One of my favorite companions to this time are the many varieties of goldenrod turning fields and roadsides into rivers of yellow and gold.
Goldenrod offers these words…
“Dance! Dance and sing and sway in breezes. There is power and joy in surrendering yourself to the breezes – to the flow of what is happening in this very heartbeat moment. Slip into the golden stream of flow and infinite potential. Slip into presence and knowing that all is well. All is flowing. All is clear and as it should be. You are infinitely capable of this. Your body remembers how. Your heart sings you free.”
If goldenrod flowers don’t grow in your ecosystem, you can always find goldenrod herb, or goldenrod essential oil. (My friend Lori from Shine Essential Oils just distilled a magical goldenrod essential oil!)
