Blessings of the New Moon

blessings of the new moon,

shine down-

upon earth’s harvest.

I rest upon Mother Earth’s,

bed of fragrant leaves-

that collects the colors,

…

of dawn touching sunset.

blessings of the radiant breath,

she brings-

as she births the seasons,

for us to behold.

I am grateful,
to the Divine One-

for earth’s abundance,

behold the earth-

treat her with tenderness-

as she bestows her beauty upon us~

This poetry is dedicated to my journey, my Heart’s Calling. About 2 years ago, I was awakened from my slumber, though it was a devastating breaking point, I was reunited to a true relationship, that with My Beloved and my heart. I have been given a gift through God’s Grace, through words and as it touches my heart, may it touch yours. I also host a Creative Writing Circle for Women every 3rd Saturday of the month at 10:00am in my home. I have 3 teenage children, a daughter and 2 sons and live in Oak Park Illinois.
